Hyderabad International Airport is a new airport near Shamshabad, about 22 km (14 mi) from the city of Hyderabad. The airport has replaced the former international airport of the city, Begumpet Airport. Hyderabad Airport's modern facilities makes it one of the best airport in South Asia.
It is well connected to the main city through Various modes of transports. There are Aero Express Shuttle (dedicated AC luxury buses) available round the clock from various departures points across the city. There are top class cabs (Meru Cabs, Dot Cabs, Radio Cabs) can be hired to reach the airport as well. Government has already started various highways, expressways and dedicated routes and railway line to the newly opened airport.
